The Turing-Roche knowledge share series: Omics

An event series for Turing-Roche partnership updates, knowledge sharing and new perspectives. This event will be on the theme of omics. Omics is a broad field including things like genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics and more, which allows large scale analysis of biological molecules.

Marius will be discussing a recent publication on a large scale computational analysis of over 40,000 cancer patients- identifying 458 mutations that predict survival on targeted therapies. Andy will be discussing the aims of a recent network analysis; his research focuses on how cells respond to steroid hormones, both in cancer and in healthy tissues. More details to follow.

The presentations from the speakers and the Q&A session will finish at 4pm and we will then host an optional networking session 4-4.30pm for anyone who would like to stay on.

We also hope to have discussions about this area pre and post the event via our Turing-Roche Slack Workspace.
