They will give a presentation on Wellcome’s new vision and strategy, followed by an opportunity to ask questions and share perspectives.

Wellcome’s new strategy focuses on discovery research that has the potential to improve human life, health and wellbeing; applications for funding that meet this remit are welcomed from researchers in any discipline.

In addition to this broad portfolio of discovery research, they are developing programmes of work to tackle three ‘urgent health challenges’: mental healthinfectious disease, and climate and health.

Diversity and inclusion, and support for a positive research culture, are central to their strategy.

Please do come along and hear more from Wellcome and take the opportunity to ask questions and give your perspectives on their new strategy.
