Diabetes and pancreatic cancer: prevention and Risk stratification through Mendelian randomisation (DiaRMid)

Professor Andrew Renehan is professor of cancer studies and surgery at the University of Manchester, and researcher at the Manchester Cancer Research Centre and the NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre, United Kingdom. He is honorary consultant in Colorectal and Peritoneal Surgical Oncology at the Christie NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester. He leads research in the following areas: (i) anorectal cancer functional outcomes including projects of determinants of outcomes in anal cancer and rectal cancer, core outcome sets for these cancer types, and organ preservation; (ii) basic laboratory and clinical research in appendiceal tumour and peritoneal surface malignancies; and (iii) obesity-links with cancer incidence and outcomes.
