RLF Writing Fellow
Writing skills for undergraduates, postgraduates and staff
Need some help with your writing?
Good written communication is essential for success in science, but few of us are skilled, confident writers.
Suzannah Dunn is the Writing Fellow for the Faculties of Science, Biomedical Sciences, and Health Sciences at the University of Bristol. She is here at the university to help you with your writing by diagnosing problems and suggesting how to tackle them. It's an individual and fascinating process, and it's possible to make several appointments if needed.
Suzannah is the author of eleven novels and two collections of stories, and has decades of experience of working with people on their writing at all levels from basic literacy to postgraduate.
If you'd like some help, if you want to improve your writing skills or talk about the way to structure a piece of writing, or you've been getting disappointing marks and want to understand why and what you can do about it, book a confidential, free, one-to-one session and come and talk to the writing fellow. What's discussed won't be marked or discussed with your tutors.
