Global Health challenges: Anthropological reflections
Professor Helen Lambert
ZOOM MEETING
In this talk Helen Lambert will draw on her secondment to UKRI as Challenge Leader for Global Health and on three decades of experience as an anthropologist working on public and global health issues to reflect on changing approaches to configuring ‘global health'. She will consider what is needed for achieving interdisciplinarity and equitable collaboration and reflect on the role of the humanities and social sciences in addressing global challenges.
Professor Helen S Lambert is Professor of Medical Anthropology at the University of Bristol. She is GCRF Challenge Leader for Global Health. Professor Lambert has a background of research into antimicrobial resistance, HIV prevention with vulnerable communities, and the social and cultural dimensions of health systems.
