The IGRCT is thrilled to announce that Professor Stephen Bann CBE FBA will be joining our Vice Presidents.
Stephen Bann is Professor Emeritus of History of Art at the University of Bristol, and Chair of the Separtment in 2000. His career as an art critic spans six decades, and he has curated major exhibitions at the National Gallery, London, and the Musée des Beaux-Arts, Lyon.
We had the pleasure of hearing Professor Bann deliver the 2025 Morse Lecture this very spring on Ian Hamilton Finlay’s reception of the classics.
