Sergei Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto No.2

Bristol University Symphony Orchestra presents a stunning new suite of compositions by Bristol students. Fourteen short movements, responding to a Prologue by the orchestra’s conductor and professor of composition Neal Farwell, flow together into a luminous story of exploration. Complementing the new, we present one of the best-loved works in the repertoire, featuring Bristol-based soloist and University alumnus Paul Israel in Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No.2.
