The RAI Film Festival was established in 1985 by the Royal Anthropological Institute (UK) and offers a diverse programme of films, workshops, masterclasses and events that question our complex, shared world, and promote social justice and dialogue. The festival nurtures relationships between filmmakers and audiences, creating brave spaces for dialogue and learning.

From filmmakers, screen industry professionals, scholars and students, through to anyone interested in our shared humanity, the festival welcomes everyone. Storytellers from every corner of the world use the medium of film to shine a light on the people, places and stories that are too often lost in the spotlight of global media.
