You are warmly invited to the next Bristol Arts Film event at 5.30-8.30pm on Wednesday 15th June. We will be watching and discussing Corpus Christi (Boże Ciało, 2019), a recent film by Polish director Jan Komasa, nominated for an Oscar in the Best International Foreign Film category in 2020. It tells the story of a man doing time in a young offender institution, who usurps the role of a vicar in a small town. Thanks to his unorthodox ways and lack of airs, he helps the local people to heal and forgive one another following a community tragedy.

This event is run in collaboration with the Centre of Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners, ‘Polonicum’, at the University of Warsaw.
