Geology 1979 Reunion

The Geologists of 1979 are delighted to invite you to a reunion on 9 and 10 October 2026, celebrating 50 years since they started the course.

Their plans include meeting for lunch on the Friday, followed by a visit to the Geology Department and a tour of the Wills Building including a trip up the tower, followed by an evening meal in a restaurant in Bristol.

On Saturday morning there are the possibilities of a trip down to the caverns below the Clifton suspension bridge (only rediscovered about 20 years ago) with a guide who is a geologist or a walking tour of St Nicks market (they will do a poll once they know who is able to come).

Please forward this invitation to any friends who graduated in 1979 that you are still in touch with.
