The University of Bristol’s Badminton Club are holding their annual Alumni Weekend that invites current and past members to connect for a weekend of social events and a ‘Past vs Present’ badminton tournament.  

The club are excited to welcome para-badminton athlete Dan Bethell (LLB 2017) to this year's tournament. Dan, who earned a silver medal in badminton at the Paris Paralympic Games 2024, will be joining to celebrate his remarkable achievements and contributions to the sport. In honour of his success, the winning team of the tournament will be awarded the Bethell Cup, which Dan himself will present. 

Schedule (TBC):

*Timings and venue to be confirmed*

• Friday 28 February - Travel to Bristol for evening drinks and a catch up (optional) 

• Saturday 1 March - Past vs Present Badminton Tournament from 10:30 am until 3:30 pm, followed by an evening meal and drinks 

• Sunday 2 March – Meet for brunch and the opportunity to play some more badminton (subject to interest)
