Who is running it
This event is being organised by the Quantum Information Science and Technologies Centre for Doctoral Training - which is jointly delivered by the University of Bristol and Sussex University, with Bristol as the lead institution - in collaboration with the UK Science and Technology Network
About
This meet & greet is part of our wider ‘USA Industry Trip’ visit to explore the US quantum ecosystem, and includes a similar programme of activities in Boulder, Colorado.
Bristol Quantum
Bristol’s Quantum Information Institute is home to some of the world’s leading quantum research groups, and uniquely spans the full spectrum from theory to technology.
Bristol’s quantum ecosystem is also home to the Quantum Technologies Enterprise Centre, which is responsible for over 1/3 of the UK’s quantum & quantum enabled start-ups, and the Quantum Engineering Centre for Doctoral Training, which is the UK’s longest running specialist quantum PhD training centre, and the new Quantum Information Science and technologies CDT, which was successfully funded in 2023.
