Lasting Power of Attorney Webinar

The Philanthropy Office are delighted to invite alumni to their informative digital event on how to set up a Lasting Power of Attorney (England and Wales). This is a key document which is advisable to have alongside your Will.  

Hosted by Leila Goodarzi (LLM 2008), Partner at Veale Wasborough Vizards solicitors in Bristol, session with Leila will give an overview of why it’s important to have a Lasting Power of Attorney alongside your Will, and things to consider when planning for the future. 

About 

A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) ensures your affairs are managed by someone you trust if you lose capacity. There are currently two types in the England and Wales:  

  • LPA for Property and Financial Affairs: Managing assets, paying bills, and handling financial decisions  
  • LPA for Health and Welfare: Making healthcare and living arrangement decisions on your behalf
