A new shipping container arrived in February at the Hawthorns and has been converted into a lovely Garden Café for students, staff and our neighbours to enjoy as the sun starts to shine. Opening in May, it will offer sustainable, ethically-sourced food, great coffee and seats outside, creating a lovely new place to eat, drink and relax in the heart of the campus.

Study spaces and catering go hand in hand, so in addition to offering fabulous food, the Hawthorns also recently opened 375 study seats, available 24/7.

The Garden Café and study spaces have full wheelchair access, an accessible lift and disabled parking space.
