Programme structure

Our degree is delivered through a dynamic series of hands-on units, meticulously designed to build your toolkit. The programme is structured across three distinct phases, with assessment based entirely on real-world individual and group coursework, eliminating traditional exams.

Term 1: Becoming an Innovator: The first term focuses on mastering the powerful, core skills of innovation that are in demand across every industry. You will learn to use human-centred design to find and create genuine value, conduct primary research to develop impactful solutions to complex problems, and build the foundations to become a world-class innovator in any professional context.

Term 2: Applying Your Skills: Apply your learning in two high-impact, real-world scenarios, tailored to ignite your career path:

  • Act as a Management Consultant, working for a real-world industry partner to solve a live commercial brief.
  • Become a Founder, building a new venture from the ground up with your team to tackle a problem that truly inspires you.

Summer: Launch Your Venture: Your final summer project is the powerful culmination of your learning. You will consolidate your skills to create and present a new product, service, or innovative venture, poised and ready for its next exciting steps.

Entry requirements

You will typically need an upper second-class honours degree or an international equivalent in any discipline.

We will consider your application if your interim grades are currently slightly lower than the programme's entry requirements and may make you an aspirational offer. This offer would be at the standard level, so you would need to achieve the standard entry requirements by the end of your degree. Specific module requirements would still apply.

We will also consider your application if your final overall achieved grade is slightly lower than the programme's entry requirement. If your achieved grade is lower than our entry requirements, your application may be more likely to receive an offer if you have additional qualifications. If you have the following, please include your CV (curriculum vitae / résumé) when you apply, showing:

  • a relevant postgraduate qualification.

Fees are subject to an annual review. For programmes that last longer than one year, please budget for up to an 8% increase in fees each year.
