Biomedical Review Programme

In 2014 the then Vice Chancellor initiated a review of biomedical research and education at the University. This resulted in the creation of the two Faculties of Biomedical Sciences and Health Sciences. The Biomedical Review Programme now continues into its third year by focusing on two key elements within the Faculty of Health Sciences: the delivery of the MB21 MBChB degree and the creation of Bristol Medical School.

Bristol Medical School

Bristol Medical School will be created through the amalgamation of the School of Social and Community Medicine and School of Clinical Sciences, and will be operational from 1st August 2017. From September 2017, a new cohort of medical students will be the first to study the innovative MB21 degree.
