Viewing Options
There are following TV viewing options:
- Small screen (x inch LCD TV).
- Big screen (a x inch projection screen).
Please note:There is only one TV reciever, so different channels can not be watched on different screens.
Viewing Policy
The TV facility is available for use providing the following policy is adhered to:
- Casual usage must consider the requirements of those already in the room
- Booked events take precedence over casual use
- Booked events requesting use of the projection screen take precedence over causal table tennis use.
- To obtain the remote control your own University ID card must be left at the Hawthorns reception.
- He or she who obtains the remote control from the Hawthorns reception is liable for its return or replacement.
- One ID card can not be exchanged for another at the reception. The owner must be present.
- The last person to finish watching TV must turn the TV/projector off.
Considerations
The TV facility shares the room with other facilities. Therefore, please consider others in the room.
Please bear in mind the following:
- When adjusting the volume level, consider others already in the room.
- For guaranteed use of the projection screen, it must be booked in advance to avoid conflict with table tennis users.
- The use of the small screen may interfere with the use of the snooker table.
- Likewise, the use of the snooker table may interfere with the use of the small screen.
- If you are the last person to finish watching TV, please turn it off.
