LeDeR COVID-19 Reviews

31 July 2020

A short summary of the findings from the first 50 completed LeDeR reviews relating to COVID19 is now available.

This short paper describes key information relating to 50 people with learning disabilities whose death has been attributed to COVID19. Each of the people have had their death reviewed as part of the Learning Disabilities Mortality Review (LeDeR) programme.

The aim of the paper is to highlight those aspects of the condition itself, or the care provided to those who have died, that can inform a better understanding of COVID-19 as relevant to people with learning disabilities.
