QUADAS
A quality assessment tool for diagnostic accuracy studies
QUADAS (Quality Assessment of Diagnostic Accuracy Studies) is a tool developed to help systematically evaluate the quality of diagnostic accuracy studies. It is used primarily in systematic reviews to assess the risk of bias and the relevance (applicability) of individual studies to the review question.
QUADAS-3 was launched at the MEMTAB conference in Birmingham on 30 April 2025. This will replace the QUADAS-2 tool. We have submitted a paper reporting the tool for publication. As soon as this has been accepted we will share the tool and resources to apply the tool here.
