Information for parents and carers
Welcome to the Parent section of the Active for Life Year 5 website! This section is dedicated to the parents/carers of children participating in the project.
Your child is in one of 60 Primary Schools in Bristol and North Somerset participating in an exciting research project called ‘Active for Life Year 5’. The study follows children from Year 4 to Year 6, to test whether a series of lessons taught during Year 5 on healthy eating and exercise, can help encourage children to be more active, spend less time being sedentary, and eat more fruit and veg.
We hope you will be able to find the information you would like to know by following the links below, but if you would like any further information, please email us on afly5-scm@bristol.ac.uk and we will be happy to hear from you.
