The prices quoted below are designed to enable delegates to provide costings when applying for funding to attend the conference. Please note that apart from a welcome buffet before the conference officially commences, meals will not be provided; however, meals are included in some conference events charged supplementary to the conference fee (such as the banquet).

Accommodation

Delegates will be able to book into a range of central Bristol hotels via the online booking service, but we anticipate that the majority of delegates will be accommodated in the Premier Travel Inn at a cost of £62-£65 per room per night.

*Please note that the Travel Inn provides numerous twin rooms, so delegates might wish to share with another conference delegate

Meals

Meals will not be provided at the conference; however, the conference venue is situated within five minutes walk to over 100 cafes, sandwich shops, and restaurants. The conference committee will provide discounts for a range of local eateries within the conference packs, as well as guides to eating out in Bristol.

The following are guidelines on the range of prices you may be expected to pay:

£3 to £5 - sandwiches, drink and dessert
£6 to £10: one-course lunch with drink
£10 to £20: a two-course dinner with drink

Conference Fee

Standard Conference Fee: £90 / £70 waged / unwaged*

Early Booking Conference Fee: £80 / 60 waged / unwaged*

*The waged / unwaged distinction refers to scholars employed at an academic or professional institution (waged) as opposed to graduate students and the unemployed (unwaged).
