BPI Advanced Poverty Research Methods training course held at the University of Cape Town

The Bristol Poverty Institute organised a week of in-person Advanced Poverty Research Methods training at the University of Cape Town, South Africa in August 2022.

This training built upon the highly successful Advanced Poverty Research Methods courses for PhD students and ECR staff at the University of Bristol in 2019 and online across Latin America, Africa and Europe in 2021.

It also builds on a Group Fellowship at the Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study on Advancing Gender Equality in Africa and Globally: Strengthening Health and Economic Outcomes by Learning What Works at Scale and continuing collaborative research with the University of Cape Town on Transforming Social Inequalities Through Inclusive Climate Action (TSITICA) and on Socioeconomic-Related Inequalities in COVID-19 Vulnerability in South Africa
