Dame Kelly Holmes Trust - Get on Track - Volunteers needed for interview practice supporting young people seeking work

The Dame Kelly Holmes Trust, in partnership with Wesport and Coachmakers, will be launching their first all-female Get on Track programme in July. Get on Track is a personal social development programme designed to instil lasting change for women and girls who have experienced a difficult start to life. This programme is designed to work with women and girls, specifically young women aged 16 – 25 years old, who may face greater barriers to employment, skills and learning.

The programme will be led by elite athlete mentors Philippa Tuttiett and Annie Vernon, who will share their inspirational stories and journeys with participants. Recruitment days will take place in mid-July, with a programme start date of 26th July.

To support the programme The Dame Kelly Holmes Trust are asking for Learning City Partners to volunteer their time on Wednesday 24th August to help develop the participants interview and presentation skills.
