Ika Willis is the Arts Faculty Lecturer in Reception. She has a BA in Classics from Oxford University and an MA and PhD in Cultural Studies from the University of Leeds. She works mainly on what is still unsatisfactorily called 'theory' (particularly deconstruction, post-structuralism, and queer theory). She is currently working on two main projects: one about telecommunications and political space in Latin epic, and one about the erotics of reception.
Ika's investigation into the Penguin Collection focuses on Penguin Classics in translation.
