Roger Huckle

Roger Huckle has been the inspiration and Artistic Director of The Bristol Ensemble (formerly The Emerald Ensemble) since its foundation in 1994.
He has performed with all the major orchestras in the UK. In addition to being much in demand as a soloist, chamber musician, leader and recording artist, he also holds the following positions:
- Visiting tutor at Bristol University and University of the West of the England
- Co-leader of London Concertante,
- Swansea City Opera
Roger has also recorded with Dexy’s Midnight Runners and featured on the No.1 hit Come on Eileen. Current projects include recording the music for the next edition of the computer game Halo and BBC natural history productions, as well as film scores.
