IAS/WUN Intern - Edwina Thorn
Edwina is currently writing her doctoral thesis in the Department of Historical Studies, funded by a Wingate Scholarship. Her research focuses on attitudes to classical Antiquity in late-medieval commentaries on St. Augustine’s City of God.
Her main research interests are in the field of medieval intellectual history and include:
- Medieval literary criticism
- Classical reception in the Middle Ages
- Medieval approaches to history
- Medieval Universities
