People, associates and fellows
The Director of the IAS is Professor Gregor McLennan, who is also a Professor of Sociology, and its Research Development Manager is Dr Susan Jim. Professor Kathy Sykes, Professor of Sciences and Society, is also based in the IAS along with a variable range of visiting fellows and associates.An Advisory Board comprising academics from all faculties assists and advises the Director, meeting three times per year. This is a crucial vehicle for the IAS to 'drill down' into the concerns and aspirations of the disciplines and schools across the University.
