What has happened to the relatively simple concepts of racism, and why is racism proliferating in social and political analyses, when we in Britain might now expect to be bringing it under manageable proportions? How should British society respond to the current Muslim political assertiveness? Is there a ‘crisis of multiculturalism’ and if so, is multiculturalism worth saving?
