Fenswood Farm

The farm provides research facilities, including glasshouses, laboratory space, controlled environment units and extensive agricultural land.

With sixty two hectares of agricultural land and within a modern building and glasshouse complex, the main objective of the University farm is for scientific research; focused, but not exclusively so, towards environmental endeavours. Commercial facilities include internal and external storage.

The arable land at Fenswood is currently commercially farmed, usually with winter wheat and winter oil seed rape in a 2-1 rotation. There are over 15 hectares of grass ley which at present is rented out for livestock grazing.

Located in Long Ashton, only 15 minutes drive from the main University Precinct, the facility has good access roads, car parking and further development potential.
