The best way to secure a place on our PhD programme is to make informal contact with the member of academic staff whose research interests are similar to your own.
Duration: 3 or 4 years
Academic requirements: A strong undergraduate degree in psychology or related field.
Language requirements: If English is not your first language, the minimum requirement on the IELTS is 6.5 for both the average score and the writing score, or 600 on the TOEFL (250 CBT - 100 IBT).
Funding: The School offers several fully-paid studentships every year. All applications are automatically considered for these studentships. Externally-funded students (e.g., foreign academic or governmental bodies, research grants, personal funds) are strongly encouraged to apply as well.
