11 October 2012Anyone keen to put their short-term memory to the test can take part in the record attempt and learn about the fascinating world of neuroscience.
The game was played in the 2011 Royal Institution Christmas lectures presented by Professor Bruce Hood. You can watch the video and you may be surprised how little you can remember! We will be producing educational resources, including a video introduction from Professor Hood exploring the science behind short-term and long-term memory.
The record attempt will take place at 2.30pm on Friday 19th October.
Schools and organisations are invited to take part – all you need is at least 25 people able to play our 10 minute memory game and the ability to provide the documentation required by Guinness World Records. There is more information to follow and if you are interested in getting involved please contact Rebecca Nesbit by email or by phone: 0207 685 2553. We are also keen to hear from neuroscientists who are interested in contributing to the resources.
