£100,000 from DSTL to investigate the effect of standard and adaptive camouflage on perceived speed in neutral and stressful situations.
It is notoriously difficult to conceal an object which is moving. A grant of £100,000 from the
Defence Science and Technology Laboratory
(DSTL) to the
School of Experimental Psychology
School of Biological Sciences
will fund research on whether camouflage patterns could be used to distort perceived speed.
