If you are ill during an examination and wish to obtain a Doctor's note, you should try to make an appointment to see your local GP on the day you fall ill. Such Doctors' notes should be given to your departmental office so that they can be taken into account by the Examination Board.
.You should inform your department immediately if for any reason you are unable to attend an exam.

The examinations office will always endeavour to ensure that examinations take place whatever weather conditions prevail.
In the unlikely event that an examination start time needs to be delayed (which may be the case if insufficient invigilators are available) the examinations office will inform any departments concerned and an incident report form will be completed.
If you are are unable to attend an examination for any reason you should contact your department before the start of the examination to let them know.
