The Systems Centre at the University of Bristol is developing a far reaching stakeholder-needs defined research programme rooted in the application of Systems Thinking approaches across a full range of engineering disciplines and sectors.
The Systems centre develops innovative approaches to complex systems design. These approaches and tools can stimulate step changes in performance improvements as well as the anticipation of possible unintended consequences.
We offer an opportunity to conduct a fully funded PhD project on the topic “Modelling human mobility in the context of disease spreading ”, supervised by Dr Anders Johansson.
