Booking central teaching spaces

Booking a room for teaching

This is done as an annual exercise by the Timetabling and Room Booking team who:

  • create all teaching timetables, across all faculties, for academic staff and students
  • organise room booking for the teaching timetable.

Bookings that are not associated with teaching but would benefit from being displayed on a student/staff timetable (for example, regular research seminars) should be discussed with your Faculty Education Officer

For contacts and queries see Timetabling team contact page.

Booking a room for a non-teaching event

Staff should visit the non-teaching events web room booking page to:

  • request rooms for non-teaching events, (for example, meetings and conferences)
  • check room timetables.

Booking a room for a student event

Room bookings for Student Society Events in Central Teaching Spaces are now Open for TB1.

Please note. We do not book rooms in Senate House, The Bill Brown Suite, The Richmond Building. Please contact the SU or the Faculties directly. The Great Hall & Reception room in the Wills Memorial Building are no longer booked out for SU Groups.
