27 November: ABSG Meet-up - Oliver Payne

25 November 2014

Speaker: Oliver Payne

When: Thursday 27 November 2014, 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM

Oliver spent over a decade at Saatchi & Saatchi, and Ogilvy, as a Creative Director at board level on global advertising campaigns for some of the world’s best-known and largest companies. He now runs behavioural economics communications agency, The Hunting Dynasty.  Oliver specialises in finding covert and overt ways of creating change for desirable and non-desirable actions. He is the author of ‘Inspiring Sustainable Behaviour: 19 Ways To Ask For Change’.

Oliver will talk about his experience as an ad man and his work in sustainability. He'll also speak about the challenge of bringing 'the person' back into the equation, alongside 'the situation', with an example from a litter study in Liverpool.

If anybody wants to buy and bring a copy of the book he'll happily sign it: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1849714002

There will also be time for refreshments and an opportunity to meet others with an interest in applied behavioural economics and psychology.
