The Centre has a long tradition of research in the UK and in collaboration with colleagues all over the world. This research is divided into five areas:
In each case we have carried out funded research produced reports and have archives of data. At any point in time, the shape and focus of this research will change and some areas will receive more attention than others.
However, we are committed to a framework of research with Deaf people and for the benefit of Deaf people and for the purpose of extending knowledge and theory in the academic discipline of Deaf Studies.
We are in the process of making a full archive of our work which will be accessible and searchable online.
