Centre students

The Centre has Deaf and hearing students from diverse backgrounds and of different nationalities.

Many of our BSc students begin their studies at the Centre having already acquired BSL skills to CACDP level 1 or 2, but this is not a requirement. BSc Courses are taught in English and British Sign Language, using an interpreter where appropriate for the first year as BSL skills are developed. Postgraduate courses may require a formal BSL qualification, for more information please visit the Postgraduate area of this website.
