Victoria Rooms
The Victoria Rooms, completed in 1841, stands on one of Bristol's most impressive sites at the head of Queens Road. This fine early Victorian classical building has seen many major events from the ceremonial dinner celebrating the opening of the Clifton Suspension Bridge to readings by Charles Dickens and Oscar Wilde. Today it is home to the University's Music Department and with its 665 seat auditorium, rehearsal rooms, recording studio and meeting rooms. The Victoria Rooms is an ideal venue for conferences, AGM's, concerts, productions, exhibitions and functions.
