Halls of Residence

The wide range of residential conference & meeting facilities are set in two popular areas of the city. Many of the Halls of Residence are also available for Functions and Wedding Receptions with Clifton Hill House and Goldney Hall being licensed for Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnership Formations. Holiday accommodation is available during the summer period in five of our Halls.

Clifton

Brunel's beautiful Suspension Bridge is the most famous landmark of Bristol's best known quarter - Clifton. Mainly Georgian, Clifton Village is a most sociable place - with wine bars, excellent shopping, antique shops and a wide variety of restaurants. The residences are close to the University's main precinct which also offers additional facilities for meetings, seminar rooms, and Exhibitions.

Stoke Bishop

Bristol is built on dramatic hills, and Stoke Bishop, 3 miles to the north of the City Centre, offers visitors the calm of park and woodland high above the Avon Gorge. From Sea Walls, on the very cliff edge, there are panoramic views across the Bristol Channel to the Welsh Hills.
