Shenila is a quantitative researcher specialising in education, teacher labour markets and issues of gender and poverty. She completed her PhD on teacher quality and effectiveness at the Institute of Education, University of London.
She has worked on several education and particularly teacher-related projects for organisations such as the Department for International Development (DFID), the World Bank and Cambridge Education.
