Our working environment
Bristol Medical School is the largest and one of the most diverse schools in the University.
As a school community, we are committed to a collegial and respectful working environment where we can recruit, develop and retain the best academic and professional services staff.
Sustainability
We are deeply committed to sustainability in our school. Through our research, integration of sustainable healthcare into the curriculum and campus initiatives we prioritise sustainable practices to shape the future of healthcare responsibly. We have achieved the bronze Carbon Literate Educator Award from the Carbon Literacy Project as we believe carbon literacy training is fundamental to help us achieve net zero goals. Watch our Head of School, Professor Chrissie Thirlwell, talk about our carbon literacy journey.
