Connectivity : A Definition

At any level of description of a system the processes are inter-connected - thats what makes things so complicated.

We can often model the connections simply and use mathematics to describe them.

These are the equations of engineering science.

They are necessary for good engineering - but they are not sufficient.

We can examine a holon and identify its connections locally with its immediate friends or neighbours.

Through these local connections we build a web of connectivities.
