At University, you study and are taught a subject in great depth and detail by individuals whose knowledge and insight may be the best in the world. Most of that study is self-directed, with the key responsibility resting with the student. The lecturers are there to guide and assist but not to direct [...] it is about the passing on of knowledge and the training of a mind to think in a different way.
Whether you want to know who your rep is for the Staff Student Liaison Committee (SSLC), where to go for help or what learning resources are available to you then these pages contain information that we hope will be helpful to you as a student taking one of the courses offered by our school.
This web site is intended as a quick way of accessing and linking to much of the information and help resources you may need as an undergraduate. More detailed information is also provided in the handbook for honours students, copies of which can be downloaded from the undergraduate teaching page.
We hope you will enjoy the time you spend as an undergraduate studying with us.
