Introduction to EWCA07

5th European Workshop on Conformal Antennas

10th and 11th September 2007

Clifton Hill House

It was our pleasure to invite you to the Fifth European Workshop on Conformal Antennas (EWCA07). The workshop was organised by the Centre for Communications Research at the University of Bristol, UK.

The event was held in the historic Georgian quarter of the sea-faring city of Bristol, for centuries the second city of England, home to many significant buildings and Isambard Kingdom Brunel's iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge.

While the city has retained much of its traditional atmosphere it is famously diverse and vibrant, and a recent runner-up for European Capital of Culture. It is a major tourist destination and scheduled direct flights connect Bristol to over 30 European cities.

Following the very high standard of papers at previous workshops, we enjoyed welcoming delegates in September 2007 and to sharing the very latest developments in the field of Conformal Antennas.

Thank you to all the presenters, delegates, exhibitors and sponsors for making the event so enjoyable. It was a real pleasure to meet you all and we hope you look back on your visit here with good memories. A small selection of photographs can be found here.
