Intercalated BSc in Global Health
We welcome applications from medical students whether from the University of Bristol or elsewhere, to join our innovative one year intercalated BSc course in Global Health.
This highly successful course is run by the Centre in conjunction with the School for Policy Studies. Dr Dan Magnus, Course Director, heads a team of experts in all aspects of global health.
The course consists of taught units and a project leading to a dissertation:

- Violence, Conflict and Forced Migration - Dr Dan Godshaw
- Inequalities in Health, Poverty and Development - Dr Tigist Grieve
- Global Child Health - Dr Clare Sheahan
- Dissertation Unit - Professor Pete Blair
If you decide to join us, you will be studying with lecturers who use a variety of teaching and learning methods. e-Learning case studies
Our case study series is designed to introduce our Global Health students to some of the key challenges healthcare workers face in developing countries. The students work through the introductory tutorial together, before splitting into three groups to study one of the three role-based case studies.

- Local Non-Governmental Organisation
- District Medical Officer
