EBI Seed Fund: public engagement with health research

This scheme is currently closed to submissions for any projects focusing on face to face engagement.

If you would like to apply for funding to support an engagement activity which adheres to current social distancing guidance relating to coronavirus, please get in touch to discuss this in more detail.

Applications are welcome from researchers across all disciplines whose research has a health focus. Whether you are new to, or experienced in, public engagement, this seed fund is an opportunity to pilot a new project, enhance an existing activity, or deliver a one-off engagement event.

Researchers can apply for up to £500. There is no deadline; applications can be submitted at any time and will be reviewed every two months by the University Public Engagement Team.

All applicants, whether successful or not, will be offered the opportunity to discuss their project on a one-to-one basis with a public engagement professional, who will provide constructive feedback on their application and advise on next steps.
