International students

We welcome applications from international students.

The standard offer for international applicants taking A-levels is the same as for home students. We are happy to consider alternative qualifications, however, we will look for a knowledge of Chemistry equivalent to an A-level pass at grade A or B.

An IELTS score of 6.5 is required for candidates who do not have English as their first language.

As an incentive, the department may offer Merit Awards worth £2,000 per annum to deserving international candidates on academic grounds.
