Dr Colin Burrow (All Souls College, Oxford): Imitation

This year's lecturer was Dr Colin Burrow, Senior Research Fellow at All Souls College, Oxford. His main area of research lies in the relations between Renaissance literature and its classical forebears, though he also has active research interests in early Tudor literature, Spenser, Jonson, Milton, and in Shakespeare. His recent publications include the edition of Ben Jonson's poems in the Cambridge Edition of the Works of Ben Jonson, an anthology of metaphysical poetry and the Oxford Shakespeare edition of the complete sonnets and poems, as well as a range of chapters and articles.
