Research interests
Professor Buxton has published many articles and books on Greek mythology and literature. He is currently researching a book for Oxford University Press on the myth of the Cyclops, from antiquity to the present day, which he is writing jointly with Dr Mercedes Aguirre. His engagements in the near future include lectures and conference papers in Leiden, Philadelphia and Oxford.
